Ninja Tune XX : 20 Years of Beats and Pieces

20 Years of Beats and Pieces out today in the US, the pioneering label invades America this October throwing three massive parties in LA, SF, and NYC
Ninja Tune takes over URB.com today and unleashes a bunch of new media to celebrate

Out now on CD and included in the Ninja Tune XX box set, the compilation celebrating twenty years looks towards the future showcasing their newest crop of talent as well as todays cutting edge producers paying homage to the label's roots. With too many names to mention and do it all justice (at nearly 100 songs, the box set certainly more), the tracklisting is something that needs to be seen to be believed (see it below). A special occasion, the label has taken over URB.com today featuring an interview with founders Coldcut, a compilation of the best Ninja Tune videos, a new mix from Eskmo, and a chance to win the amazing box set.

"Ninja Tune XX feels like both a late (if fond) farewell to the opulent multi-disc box sets of the 20th century and an announcement that Ninja Tune's A&R instincts remain strong enough to survive the craziness of the 21st."
-Pitchfork Media

Ninja Tune has very obviously crafted a love letter to those who have allowed the label to stay in business for 20 solid years, with no sign of slowing down. True to form, they would rather facilitate creation than rehash the past, the result being that Ninja Tune XX is a surprisingly contemporary take on retrospective"
