MP3: Johnny Polygon - "What Sadness"

Vapors Magazine: “Panty-Dropping”

URB Magazine: “Breath of fresh air”

YRB Magazine: “ favorite hip hop hero.”

XXL Magazine: “..dropped one of the more stellar releases this year.”

While you were sleeping, Johnny Polygon has been busy. Born and bred in Tulsa, the hot bed of hip-hop (not), Johnny, who was the biggest thing Tulsa had seen since trucker hats and oil wells, decided to make a break for it, jump ship and head to the land of golden opportunities; L.A. Johnny got dropped off on Hollywood Boulevard with $297 dollars to his name.

The rest is history. Well, not really.

Let me bring you up to speed. Johnny's video for "Riot Song" is currently in rotation on MTV and VH1. His music has been featured on Grand Theft Auto IV, How To Make It In America mixtape and the film Brooklyn's Finest, and he sang the hook on Nas' "Black President." Not bad for $279.

Johnny has some exciting projects in the works but specifics are on the hush hush right now so shhhh.

To whet your appetite a bit, here's a track that didn't make any of Johnny's upcoming projects. It's a little teaser for what's to come.
