PR: Electorlightz, "The Future" MP3 on MOG Music Network

Electrolightz: It Happened Over Night; "The Future" MP3 Premiered on MOG Music Network Today!

Listening to Electrolightz’s debut , It Happened Over Night, has the same effect as going into every party in town on a Saturday night! The Los Angeles band’s effortless cocktail of electro buzz and energy, hip hop banger rhymes, and pop sheen goes down smooth and packs a punch. Singer Rami Dearest, rapper Namebrand, producer erOc, and drummer Barry Romance released their “Electrolightz presents Electronightz” mix tape this year which featured the band’s originals along with their remixes of La Roux and Lady Gaga. Their “Telephone” remix ended up on Gaga’s Telephone remix album. The mix tape was merely a tease!
The pulsating and stuttering synths of album opener, “Written All Over Your Face” transport you to a steamy dance floor even before Rami and Namebrand start seducing the woman in the song. “I Love You” brings an element of nostalgic melancholy into the mix and adds a moving iciness to the synths. The ode to wild girls, “Miss Outta Control”, drags you right back out to the floor to get tipsy. Electrolightz never sacrifice the fun or melodies even when dealing with heartbreak. Get your first taste of the album at MOG Music Network where the MP3 of "The Future" premiered today or go here.
All four members of Electrolightz have had a great deal of independent success. Rami Dearest, son of renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman, fronted the band Something for Rockets, who were featured on MTV’s You Hear It First, and gained consistent radio play on college radio and LA stations such as Indie 103.1 and KCRW.  SFR’s second album was produced by Blink 182 front man Mark Hoppus.  Rapper Namebrand gained his rapping chops as the protégé of notorious Hip Hop artist Rass Kass which enabled Namebrand to travel the world on tour along with Rass Kass and legendary rapper Rakim. He has been described as putting out high energy music with innovative lyrics and delivery. ErOc has has had commercial success with his production team called Da Riffs.  He and partner Zed Kelly, have produced a number of video game scores for EA Sports in addition to producing tracks for well-known rappers such as 50 Cent, Young Buck, Pitbull, Chamillionaire, and Method Man.
