Spree Wilson is here

Those in the know have been buzzing for quite some time about Spree Wilson, and his debut project. The wait is over and here is the first leak.

"Where Do We Go Tonight" is a hypnotizing No.ID produced track that creates a lush thick smokey atmosphere upon first listen. As the first leak from Spree Wilson's debut project "The Never Ending Now", this song takes you on a hazy trip down LA's Sunset Strip after dark, and winds down with a soulful guitar solo reminiscent of sounds from Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Complete with backgrounds and vocal production from the amazing Esthero, "Where Do We Go Tonight" sets the tone for what is to come from Spree.

Hailing from Atlanta via Nashville, discovered by Q-TIp and Dallas Austin, and considered somewhat of a distant relative of Atlanta's Dungeon Family - Spree Wilson is a guitar playing, singer songwriter, style bending hip hop artist, and his rock influenced musical creativity and artistic aesthetic seems to be something that real music heads are reacting to very quickly.

Spree Wilson is an original breed of new singer-songwriter/ hip-hop artist, who blurs musical boundaries and is creating a new definition of urban music. Armed with memorable melodies, emphatic lyrics, and emotional production, he effortlessly incorporates various genres and musical influences to create a fresh hybrid sound with sharp pop sensibilities. His musical influences strongly derive from earlier heroes like Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, De La Soul and Pharcyde, as well as current artists like MGMT, Outkast, Cee-Lo and Radiohead. Spree will soon be considered as one of the important emerging artists that are spearheading a new movement in music that represents the young fresh ears of the i-pod generation.
