Introducing the music video for “Grey Area," the first single off The Push, the independent debut album by Los Angeles artist/producer Shane Eli. Working with a small budget, but equipped with conviction and creativity, this emerging talent has raised the bar.

Deeply personal, the video is a reflection on Shane's coming of age experience, focusing on his conflicted relationship with race and his struggle with the father who abandoned him. Ultimately hopeful, Grey Area expresses Shane's determination to transcend all labels that have been placed on him.

Powerful and poignant, Grey Area addresses its sensitive theme with candor and maturity. The independently produced, music video for Grey Area offers a glimpse at the scope of Eli’s artistic expression.

Directed by David A. Wong.
