From Todd Davis:
PR: Introducing... Miss Angela Scott
January 31st 2011 -- Native Virginian, singer-songwriter, Angela "Mecca" Scott is definitely no stranger to the recording industry. As a matter of fact, her first foray into the business came courtesy of, arguably, the hottest emcee in the game, Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter.
That's actually Angela Scott scattin' her way through the catchy chorus on the Ski produced, "Feelin' It," which samples Ahmad Jamal's "Pastures," the fourth and final entry from Jigga Man's platinum-plus classic solo debut, Reasonable Doubt .
Angela later went on to appear on notable songs from the likes of Camp Lo ["Sky Box"] and AZ ["Your World Don't Stop"], with her most recent offering being "Google Me," which she wrote for Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak.
After a few false starts stemming from both shady business deals and personal hardships, the impressive veteran songstress has valiantly returned and is more than ready to take the music world by storm.
Currently readying the release of her "official" premiere outing, Angela Scott vs. Mecca, fueled by her brand new Marcus Frazier (Track House Productions) laced warm-up single, the appropriately titled, "I'm Free," 2011 is already shaping up to FINALLY be the year of Angela "Mecca" Scott -- Brace Yourselves! www.meccastylemusic.com .
