Canned Food Drive Added to The Art of Hip Hop Weekend Buffalo, NY

DTR45 announced today that a canned food drive will now be held in
conjunction with the "Buffalo Art of Hip Hop Festival". The
weekend-long extravaganza will be kicked the evening of Friday,
September 26 at the Albright Knox Art Gallery, featuring a number of
events, workshops, showcases, and demonstrations.

"We have received a great response from the community in support of
this weekends events- artists, activists, organizations, media and
local government - so we want to make sure we give something back",
DTR Founder Tony Caferro commented. Patrons attending any of the
events are encouraged to bring a canned food item, which will be
donated to the Food Bank of WNY and Compass House. The label has a
history of holding food drives around the holiday season, but as
Caferro pointed out, "Today more than ever, many families are feeling
financially stressed all year round, especially here in Buffalo. It's
important that everyone contributes what they can."

Anyone making a charitable donation will be registered for a chance
to win one of the many prizes supplied by the events' sponsors, which
includes New Era Cap, Xtreme Wheels Skatepark, Sakora Art Supplies,
and of course DTR45.
