Label: SRC Records Every guy wants one thing from his girlfriend - to miss him so bad that she has to have a t-shirt of his to wear when he's not around. I thought this was going to be a fly rap song from a new era Roxanne Shante on the subject, but Shontelle turns out to be a generic R&B singer with a corny video. I mean don't get me wrong, the girl can clearly sing, but in a world that already has a Mary J. Blige and a Mariah Carey she's trying to combine the looks of one with the pipes of the other and not really succeeding at either. She's not terrible, she's just pretty underwhelming in an already crowded field. Perhaps if she had a little more spunk or spit a rap verse I'd be feeling it, but I'm left wondering like I often do how I got tricked into listening to what looked like it should have been a hip-hop song.
