Free Music Friday: The Insomniac Edition
Posted by eTMh at Saturday, March 19th, 2011 at 3:15AM :: Email this article :: Print this article

It's 4 in the morning and I'm just sending the free music to all y'all! They're sent nonetheless!
Clear Soul Forces :: Departure EP

How y'all like the good ol' Detroit hip-hop? In fact, how many of y'all like good hip-hop in general? Well look no further as these four emcees/producers takes you to a departure away from the whackness to a destination of the raw dopeness that brings hip-hop to its essence. I suggest you hurry and take this flight 'fore the plane takes off.

Mac Miller :: Best Day Ever

It's the beeeeeest daaaaay evvvverrrrrr for Mr. Mac Miller. Why? Not sure. But it shows new music from the kid from the 'Burgh to hold y'all over until his debut comes out. Is it me or is folks from PA suddenly starts to become the hot state now?

Rapper Big Pooh :: Fat Boy Fresh, Vol. 1

Just in case folks asked where's Rapper Big Pooh been since the end of Little Brother, look no further. He's still the fat one that you listen to and he linked up with DJ Flash (not RR-related) and Statik Selektah to release this Vol. 1 edition of "Fat Boy Fresh." Be careful, your speakers might gain weight.

Rittz :: White Jesus

Straight off of Yelawolf's label Slumerica is Rittz a/k/a "White Jesus" due to his appearance of his long hair and long beard. If you ask me though, I'll say he looks more like Ronnie Van Zant Jr. Anyway, if you dig the futuristic music form the A-Town, take a listen to this. If you don't dig that style of music, take a listen to it anyway. You might end up blazing to the sounds of "White Jesus."

Wax :: Scrublife

A new signee to Def Jam, Baltimore emcee Wax got his music all planned out, to make music for the common folks who prefer to open a can of beer instead of poppin' champagne. The music of Wax is definitely related to everyday life, or the life of the scrubs who needs haircuts.

The Zoo Krew :: Modern Day Reality Muzik EP (Lownt Edition)

Coming out of Cincinnati, OH is The Zoo Krew, a rappin' duo who are aiming to make music that bumps in the trunk like UGK in their prime. This free-P even includes a Pimp C tribute to prove it. I'm not sure what the "Lownt Edition" represent for this EP, but you can definitely play this while your car is crawlin' low to the ground Big Moe style.

That's it for the "Insomniac Edition" of "Free Music Fridays." If you have any free music you would like to share with the world, please e-mail me at If you're an artist with your free mixtape/album shown on this page and you want to send me a link re-up, corrections, and/or questions, e-mail me at, as well. Thanks for reading and enjoy y'all! Two fangas, one love.... R.I.P. Nate Dogg.
