I updated the best-selling iPad guide for the new (and improved) iPad 2. Check out the description below.

The down-to-earth tone cuts through all the tech jargon, while the detailed information will get novices and techies alike up and running. Both affordable and thorough, the book will make you an expert in an hour or two.

Click on the link to download it through Amazon and read them through the Kindle device or the free Kindle app on the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android device, PC or Mac.

*NEW COLUMN: CBS GADGET WATCH*
My tech and media blogging now has an official column: CBS Interactive Gadget Watch! <http://www.bnet.com/blog/gadget-guy>

Every day I discuss the latest news in the mobile tech world, whether it be  how the iPad's competition measures up, why Borders is suddenly pushing digital books more than ever, or what Netflix is doing to keep loyal customers. The topics are broad and we usually have a great discussion in the comments.

You can follow it directly at <http://www.bnet.com/blog/gadget-guy>, but I also post the latest articles on my Twitter at <http://www.twitter.com/browndamon> and on Facebook at <http://www.facebook.com/pages/Damon-Brown/70617018343>

*SPEAKING AT THE ASJA CONFERENCE*
You can also catch me at American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) conference next month in Manhattan! I will be doing two panels: One on the 21st Century Office (as a contributor) and another on Writing Idiot's and Dummies Guides (as a moderator).

The organization was super supportive when I first started writing years ago, enough so that I became an active member and, as of last year, joined the board of directors. The conference is definitely worth checking out if you have any interest in being a professional non-fiction writer. If you can't attend, we also will be doing plenty of live tweeting during the conference using hashtag #asja2011 on Twitter.

The ASJA conference will be April 29th - May 1st at the Roosevelt Hotel, Manhattan. Early registration ends on March 25th. You can find more info at http://www.asja.org/wc/2011/.

Thanks for your support and I look forward to connecting with you soon both online and in person.

-Damon
