Rapper M-Bone, member of popular rap group Cali Swag District, was murdered Sunday night in a drive-by shooting. M-Bone, whose real name is Montae Talbert, was only 22 years old. Although the investigations are currently pending, TMZ.com reports that M-Bone's incident appeared to be a random act of violence and his murder wasn't premeditated. They further added that M-Bone was "just in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Fellow Cali Swag District members tweeted on M-Bone's death, with member C-Smoove stating, "Ma life changed drastically in the. Blink of an eye rip mbone." Lil' Twist, an artist currently signed to Young Money, tweets, " R.I.P M-Bone of Cali Swag District! Got the homie and his family in my prayers!! To the whole crew keep y'all heads up!" Friends and families of M-Bone even received condolences from many respected hip-hop artists ranging from Game, Edo. G, and to legendary DJ Premier who tweeted, "R.I.P. M-Bone of Cali Swag District.....so sad !!! And I learned how to "Dougie" because of these youngsters....Love To his Family"

Cali Swag District is best known for their platinum-selling single "Teach Me How to Dougie," which recieved major airplay during 2010.
