Eyedea: Sixth Sense CD Available + Soundset Wrap-Up

We're pleased to announce that for the first time ever, the Sixth Sense (Eyedea & Abilities before they went by that name) album Grand's Sixth Sense, is available online through the official Micheal Larsen web store!  Recorded on a 4-track when Mikey and Max were 14 and 16 respectively, the album captures songs from the group's formative years, and from the pre-First Born era.

Purchase Grand's Sixth Sense here! Thank you all for your amazing support, all profits made from this album will go towards the bench dedication ceremony in Cherokee Park on October 16th, 2011.

Soundset wrap-up.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Canterbury Park last Sunday to see DJ Abilities and Face Candy. It was a difficult but rewarding day.

We owe a special thank you to the talented artists who took part in the Face Candy set, including Eric Blair (of No Bird Sing), 2Mex, Sadistik, Irenic, Bleubird and Carnage. Read why the Star Tribune labeled it the best set in the "artist category."

Soundset was an emotional day, and we'd like to thank everyone who made and wore an "Eyedea shirt" as a tribute. If you have photos of you or your friends wearing an Eyedea shirt (even if it wasn't at Soundset), please send them to so we can get them all in one place and add them to our own.  Read the City Pages coverage of the shirts and Face Candy set. Thanks to Lauren Alford for putting together the awesome video.

make and wear an eyedea shirt for soundset 2011!

If you live on the West Coast, keep an eye out for two separate tours.  The first is the Heart Shaped Beretta Tour featuring Ecid, Carnage, and Span Phly.

The second features Kristoff Krane, Sadistik, Bodi, and Ordeal performing as a part of the Never-Ending Gun Show Tour.  Flyers for both are below.
