Alliance Brings A New Air To Hip-Hop With Three

Surging Artists From The Streets

(January 9, 2009—New York, NY)   In 2009, there will be many firsts but nothing will impact the streets like the new DVD Strictly Business from Best of the Block which features Huey (Mid-West), Maino (East) and Glasses Malone (The New West). It’s three the hard way as they all appear on Huey’s the new single “24/7” off his sophomore album “Strictly Business” slated to be released in the 2009. The video, inspired by the 1995 movie “Dead Presidents” featuring Larenz Tate, Chris Tucker and Bokeem Woodbine, is currently on BET.

Strictly Business chronicles how each artist rose through the ranks with rhymes and mere ambition. The DVD supplies substance from start to finish, with clear insight to how different each artist’s hometown and local artist influences have impacted their own lives and careers. This alliance brings in a new era showcasing that the true essence of hip-hop lives on.

“I was interested in this song because it already had the new and  hottest artist in the streets from each region. Huey got a nice Midwest following, he already had a top 5 record with Pop, Lock, and Drop It,” states Glasses Malone.  “Maino had the Hi Hater single that blew everyones head off! Plus his rep was solid in the streets of NY. I'm considered one of the realest niggas in my region old or new. Real niggas uniting is always a great look.”
