FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- Block Starz Music,, recording artist J.R. Bricks will release his debut single, "Waffle House", on iTunes, Amazon, and other digital music retailers on July 20.

In a short time, J.R. Bricks has become one of Atlanta's "Most Wanted" emcees. Equipped with sharp lyrics, versatility and a dynamic stage presence, A&R reps are describing him as Hip-Hop's artist to watch.

Born Earl Harrison, Jr. in Havana, Florida., J.R. Bricks is the son of military parents and lived the quintessential life of an army brat experiencing cultures around the globe at a young age.

"When I was 10 years old, I moved to Wiesbaden, Germany," says Bricks, who is also nominated for "Best Southern Rapper” and the "Buzz Factor" awards at the prestigious 2011 Underground Music Awards taking place on August 21st at the world famous B.B. Kings in NYC. "I’ve been to France, England, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Korea, and the Philippines all before I was 17."

J.R. Bricks musical journey began while in middle school in Germany, where he met future "Waffle House" producer Arturo Turner aka King Turo. "We spent a lot of time making music in computer class," says Bricks, who is part of the League of Champions movement along with King Turo and fellow newcomer, artist/producer M-Print. "[Turo] would beat on the table and I would freestyle to it."

As he grew up in Germany from elementary to high school, J.R. Bricks, who was originally profiled in's prestigious "Next 2 Blow" column and has been featured at, XXL, and The Source magazines respectively, was exposed to various types of music like Techno, Alternative, and Pop, which the rapper believes gives him an edge over the competition.

"My style and appeal is universal," says the ultra-ambitious twentysomething-year-old, who is also a veteran of the United States Air Force. "That is what separates me from these other Hip Hop artists."

J.R. Bricks will be shooting the official music video for "Waffle House" this August 27th on location in Atlanta, Georgia. Check out the preview of "Waffle House" and "More Than A Conquerer" by J.R. Bricks now.
