Press Release: Introducing Aundrus Poole

Los Angeles, CA - Meet Aundrus Poole - athlete, college graduate, actor, music artist - the kind of guy in fact that guys wish they were and ladies wish they could be with. It's not hard to see why. Aundrus was born to this. Cast as a series regular for three seasons in NBC's hit TV show, Friday Night Lights (Reggie Seale), after his first ever audition and quickly adding commercials for brands such as Nike, AT&T, Dodge & Southwest Airlines to his resume, Aundrus proved early that he was a natural entertainer. Armed with this resume, and a BA in Criminal Justice from Angelo State University, Aundrus and his father, an accomplished piano player and artist manager, packed up a U-Haul and moved to L.A. where Aundrus was commited to accomplishing his real dream - music.

Like so many aspiring artists, Aundrus began in his high school cafeteria, hosting freestyle battles. It was a college friend and football teammate that encouraged him to begin writing his material down and recording it. The two formed a group and local success came quickly. Upon graduation, Aundrus' mother hoped he would remain in Texas and continue his education but he had been bitten by the music bug and instead, Aundrus built a studio in his bedroom closet, teaching himself to engineer and honing his rhyming skills. With a steady stream of acting gigs as the vehicle, Aundrus found himself in the City of Angels; and that is only the beginning of the story.

Aundrus has spent the past year or so dedicated to perfecting his talents; acting classes by day with Lesly Khan and studio sessions by night with producer, Redwine, and a whole host of the industry's top producers and songwriters, traveling back to Texas briefly for a triumphant performance at SXSW in his hometown of Austin. He now feels he is ready.

Aundrus' first single, "Doin the Most", truly sums up his life mantra, "I don't care if you're rapping, if you're fishing or you're Steven Spielberg, do the most." Words to live by and Aundrus is truly off to a great start. Stay tuned. Chapter two is gonna be great.
