Brooklyn, NY - September 2011 - Brooklyn founded Darkside Music Group releases much anticipated compilation album "Bring it Home" which features Darkside Music Group's own R&B artist Demi Dabady, Duo Mister Mac and Okay Twitchy otherwise known as "The Board of S.W.A.G.R." and Darkside's own founder, Preme M.I.B. who has most recently been heard featured on a track with Joell Ortiz from Slaughterhouse which was featured on over 100 blogs all over the web. In the past he's collaborated on other records with Joell Ortiz, Papoose and Uncle Murda. He's also worked with well known producers like The TuneHeadz, Danger LLC and The Beatminerz just to name a few.

The chemistry between these 4 is undeniable. Demi Dabady is a songbird, somewhere in between Keri Hilson meets Mary J Blige. Twitchy from The Board of S.W.A.G.R. has a very modern sound, his style is like a Big Sean/Wiz Khalifa meets Drake but with a New York Swag. The second half of Board of S.W.A.G.R. is Mister Mac who's more like your authentic New York Rapper like a modern Memphis Bleek meets Joe Budden. Finally Preme is an all around solid artist who's hip hop style resembles the likes of Jay-Z and his authentic Brooklyn, New York hustler mentality delivered with a seasoned, clever and witty style. He also harmonizes and provides a lot of the male singing vocals all over the album.

"It took 4 months to track and mix the album. We started in May with no set direction or concept. After the first 5 to 10 records things just started to fall in place and the overall feeling of bringing it home became the theme; Bringing the money home to the fam, putting our hood on the map and getting out the drug game/struggle etc., Bring real substance filled music back to the industry, bringing that New York feel back." Said Preme M.I.B. when asked about the "Bring It Home" project, what it meant and how it came about.

With the attention of a lot of industry people and a big local buzz, this is the perfect time for Darkside to release an official project for the masses. "Bring it Home" is now available for free download on their website; www.darksidemg.com .
