Dallas based producer, and new Mello Music Group signee, Gensu Dean has just dismantled and reassembled Roc Marciano's new classic Scarface N*gga off of Roc Marcy's Marcberg Album (FatBeats). 2DopeBoyz was good enough to debut the track today as well.  The remix is another taste of Dean's style and what he has in store on his upcoming debut album Standard Life due out in February 2012 on MMG.

An unlikely Twitter connection was the catalyst for "What I Know", a collaboration between L.A. emcee Malkovich and producer BecomingPhill, several thousand miles away in the southern African country of Namibia. The music video was shot in the Nevada desert near Las Vegas by director/rapper Ivan Ives, the talent behind recent videos featuring the likes of RJD2 and more.

Down South Block Starz Features Controversial "Waffle House" Song, Lil' Flip, And Mannie Fresh Artist

German-American online music company Block Starz Music LLC has scheduled the release of its long-awaited DOWN SOUTH BLOCK STARZ compilation for later this month. Block Starz Music has also released the official music video to the compilation's first single, "After The Club" (formerly "Waffle House"), by Havana, Florida rapper J.R. Bricks, who made national headlines in August after the label received a cease and desist letter from Waffle House, Inc over the song's title that sparked controversy and outrage in the online Hip-Hop community.
