Loc The Blacktopper started rapping while rehabilitating from injury's after being shot in the face during a gang related drive by, losing his right eye. Interacting through music and the streets, Loc joined a rap group called "The Blacktopperz".

In promotion for the Brooklyn-born, Vermont transplant and now Colorado resident BURNTmd's full length release Not So Black & White, the good doctor debuts the Phil The Agony featured banger "Soul Snatcha," produced by Tha Professor.  As an added bonus, the Microphone Doctor has recruited Belgium's DJ Grazzhoppa to blend, slice and dice an album sampler for NSBW, which is available for free download.  Not So Black & White is now available on iTunes.

PR: REKS Gets "Rebelutionary" on New LP

REKS took the underground scene by storm with his debut LP, Along Came The Chosen (2001). The album featured production from a then eighteen year old Statik Selektah and the critically acclaimed LP was featured in the Source, XXL, Vibe, and REKS was named to URB Magazine’s “Next 100”. The album’s single “Skills 101” reached #45 on the Billboard Singles chart, and put him on tours and doing shows with huge national acts.

After dropping their free release There Goes The Neighborhood a couple weeks back, Seattle's Fearce & BeanOne (of Dyme Def) waste no time in getting new material to the masses, as the duo drops the visuals for their new song "I Want It All."  Shot and edited by BeanOne, the video depicts Fearce on his BMX, cruising around various Seattle neighborhood's as he divulges his version of the American dream.

R.A. The Rugged Man Gets Kicked Off Southwest Flight

Southwest Airlines is at it again.  The airline that infamously kicked film director Kevin Smith off one of it's planes for being too fat has now booted rapper R.A. The Rugged Man for wearing the wrong T-Shirt.  R.A. was flying home from Kentucky earlier today, and boarded the plane wearing a shirt with the title of one of his most famous songs, "Every Record Label Sucks Dick."  R.A. recounts his experience:
