Common: Ode To HipHop (1999 Remix)

Str8OutDaDen: For the past couple of weeks now I have had Common's Nobody's Smiling LP on repeat. Then out of left field comes a video of Common freestyling at the Fat Beats opening in 1997. That's when I got to thinking about a remix of Common's "1999" record featuring Sadat X that I put together years ago. For a while it was thought to be lost due to a failed hard drive, but then while going through one of my thumb drives I found it. So for all of you Lazies and fans of Common, hear is a little something that I like to call "Ode To HipHop".
