In the clip, R.A. speaks on his tenure with major labels Jive and Priority, explaining that (contrary to industry rumor) neither label ever dropped him, and that he actually paid to get out of his Jive contract.

So Apparent is the first single off the upcoming J'You album, "June 16". It is an in your face song that points "the finger" at the new age rappers of today. It is both catchy and witty and blends a commercial vibe with an underground type of flow. Rap is overcrowded with hipsters and poster boys, but J'You does not give a fuck and it should be apparent.

Today, Uncommon Records presents Atari Blitzkrieg's long awaited full length Uncommon debut, Technicolor Crime Scenes. Atari explains that this album was "inspired by this 24/7 media consumption culture" and that it "doesn't praise or critisize that, it simply reflects on it, so because of that the album is obviously much darker in tone then anything I've done in the past". To call Atari Blitzkrieg eclectic would be a colossal understatement.
