Steve 'Flash' JuonFor the centennial episode of The PC Engine Files I decided to push myself out of my comfort zone with (gasp) a SPORTS GAME. That’s right — this week I’m looking at a basketball game known in the US as Takin’ it to the Hoop, also known on PC Engine as USA Pro Basketball (I think I like that name better). It’s about average in nearly every way — average gameplay, average music, average sound effects, it’s just competent.
The best thing about this game is that if you’re collecting for TurboGrafx-16 it’s very cheap — $10 loose, only a few bucks more complete. This might be a good starter game for you!
