Wiz Khalifa, Drai’s Nightclub – May 24th

When it comes to rapping royalty, few artists have as much pedigree and widespread love as Wiz Khalifa, who has been churning out great songs for the best part of two decades. Hailing from Minot, North Dakota, a town best known for its air force base and not much else, Wiz Khalifa has climbed the greasy pole to become one of the most well-known rappers in the world, and he looks set to stay at the top with a run of high-profile appearances.

Wiz Khalifa is arguably still best known for his 2010 smash hit “Black and Yellow”, which is easily one of the most catchy rap songs of the 21st century. As well as being a great musician, Wiz Khalifa has also appeared on television and in movies, featuring on the likes of the Eric Andre Show and in the stoner-classic movie Mac & Devin Go To High School, featuring alongside Snoop Dogg. And on May 24th, Wiz Khalifa will be performing at Drai’s Nightclub, so if you want to see him in the flesh, now is your chance!

Ne-Yo, Encore Theatre – August 7th

Despite being born Shaffer Chimere Smith, Ne-Yo often goes by his stage name. Ne-Yo is a singer, rapper, songwriter, dancer, producer, and even acts, so it’s fair to say that he’s a real jack-of-all-trades — which is probably why he’s still at the top in 2024. Ne-Yo is considered one of the most influential figures of the R&B music scene of the early 2000s, having won three Grammy Awards and countless other accolades.

At 44 years old, Ne-Yo is one of the most prolific rappers out there — he is an embodiment of that distinct early 2000s style of music that is instantly recognizable as being from that era. The success of his featuring role in Mario’s 2004 single “Let Me Love You” resulted in him winning a contract with Jay-Z’s Def Jam Records, which saw him release 4 successful albums and countless smash singles. And later this summer, Ne-Yo will be performing at the Encore Theatre in Las Vegas, so make sure to get your ticket before they sell out!
