Steve 'Flash' JuonI’m somewhat torn on this week’s episode of Genesis Does. I can see the ambition behind Battle Master. It’s a Commodore Amiga/Atari ST home computer game ported to the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and it seems that it got fair to above average reviews in its own time.
Unfortunately try as I may to get into the “action” it just seemed like there wasn’t a lot going on a lot of the time, and some of the magic that might have been had playing this with a mouse and keyboard just got lost in translation. Also there’s this mysterious “P” written on the label of my cart. What ever does it mean? Is it someone’s name? Phil? Paul? Were they trying to say it’s PAL?
