OEM (original equipment manufacturer) controllers are increasingly hard to find and expensive when available, while the Specialist can be had for under $25 and is new out of the box, unlike an already used/worn in control pad. My favorite part may be that it has a ten foot long cord.
Obviously a wireless version would be the dream, but it’s still a significant improvement over the original cord that was far too short, with extension cords being just as hard to come by as OEM controllers to boot.
