Bouken Danshaku Don – The Lost Sunheart fits like a glove and checks all of those boxes with ease. Good luck finding a physical copy complete for less than a hundred bucks.
You know what though? You should try it in emulation anyway. I got stifled by the very first boss in the game but enjoyed myself enough that I’m going back for more. That’s certainly a recommendation to play it if not necessarily own it.
