Steve 'Flash' JuonA quick bit of background on Arkanoid vs. Space Invaders — the game was originally released by Taito for iOs and Android back on May 17, 2017. There was no teaser or announcement for it in advance. Like the Invaders themselves it came without warning! It stayed exclusive to those platforms for the next three years, and many people in the West may not even be aware it found its way to home consoles, but that’s because the Space Invaders: Invincible Collection was only released in Japan.
In addition this is a TOUCH SCREEN game so you might as well disconnect the Joycons while you are playing — they won’t help you at all! To make it extra difficult this game actually doesn’t come ON the Switch game, it’s a separate download/DLC code in the package, and you have to have a Japanese region account to download it (but not to play it afterward).
