Steve 'Flash' JuonEven though I thought Syd Mead’s Terraforming was a ridiculously expensive game for the TurboGrafx and PC Engine family of home consoles, Bomberman Users Battle blows it out of the water. A loose disc of that game can go for $600, but a loose HuCard for THIS game goes for over a THOUSAND dollars. Coincidentally that’s the number that comes up in most discussions of the game.
Apparently only 1,000 copies were made and they were meant for demo kiosks in stores and Hudson Soft tournaments at live events. I haven’t seen any documentation of those tournaments, but my name isn’t Nick Robinson, so I won’t be getting on a plane to Japan to go find out.
