Steve 'Flash' JuonA big shout out to HiddenPalace.org for their 15 year quest to dump and preserve this once unknown version of Sonic the Hedgehog! This is a pre-release build sent to video game magazines for purpose of review, back in the day and time when Sega (nor anybody else really) was worried about said prototypes being dumped and distributed online. In fact the world wide web as we know it was just a glimmer in Tim Berners-Lee’s eye at the time and the only place I could imagine roms being uploaded were anonymous FTP archives or newsgroups.
