To start this week’s Genesis Does I’ve got the complete in box copy of The Ooze that I didn’t find in time for filming last week. Since I was already going through my cardboard box Genesis games, I decided it was a fitting time to pull out Sonic 3D Blast and show it off as another Genesis exclusive!

I can applaud this game in every way for being a well crafted technical marvel that pushed the Sega Genesis console (and the cartridge size itself) to its limits, but the isometric 3D view tends to cause issues for me over time that get me a little green around the gills.

I honestly wish I could play this over time on a console, but there are no saves on the cart or save states, so unless I used a level skip I just can’t do it because I have to take breaks and walk away. This one may actually be better attempted in an emulator if you’re like me. Subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan for new episodes every Thursday at 8 PM ET, 7 CT.
