Some sad news to report tonight on the passing of another hip-hop legend – Nathaniel D. Hale, better known to many as Nate Dogg. Confirmation of his passing late Tuesday evening comes from both the Long Beach Press Telegram and NBC Los Angeles. The Long Beach, California rap star was only 41 years old, but had suffered two severe strokes in 2007 and 2008 that undoubtedly shortened his life. Fans will remember him as the gravelly voiced and soulful singer on a plethora of G-Funk classics from Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” to Warren G’s “Regulate” among MANY others. We’ve included the latter video below. Our condolences to his family, friends and numerous fans around the world. R.I.P. Nate Dogg.
